Here you’ll be welcomed. We champion diversity and we understand the importance of our people representing the communities and customers we serve. You’ll find an inclusive environment where you can be yourself and where everyone is driven by the same purpose – helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.
Working in our UK support functions you’ll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. No matter your role, you’ll have an opportunity to do work that matters. Making a difference to the lives of our customers each and every day.
Role Overview
The Employee Health Benefits Advisor is a fantastic new role created to support our people to understand and engage with their benefits.
You’ll spend most of your time on site with colleagues, promoting the benefits available to them and finding out what support they require and connecting them with appropriate benefit pathways.
When not out at site you will be homebased responding to incoming enquiries via phone and email, managing bookings to attend sites, and proactively promoting the Health Benefits Adviser service using our internal communications channels.
What you’ll do:
- Listening to colleagues’ issues and signposting them to the most appropriate benefit, service, or pathway.
- Proactively encouraging colleagues to engage with their health and wellbeing benefits, and create space and time for colleagues to take time away from their role to discuss wellbeing issues.
- Support with the delivery of Personal Energy, Bupa’s health and wellbeing programme to those in frontline roles.
- Liaising with managers and leaders to ensure colleagues at all sites under your remit are aware of the Health Benefits Adviser and establishing what signposting or awareness may be required.
What you’ll bring:
- Customer facing experience
- Ability to listen, empathise, and build rapport
- Confidence in having potentially emotive or difficult conversations (Mental Health First Aider training or similar is desirable, but we can also provide this training or a refresher if required)
- Confidence engaging and presenting to our colleagues in person, over the phone, and via email
- Strong organisation, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Full UK driving licences – weekly regional travel and at times national travel will be required
