Emergency Works Scheduler
£29,447 made up of basic salary of £24,745 per annum plus 19% shift allowance (£4,702)
Up to 5% bonus

Located at Doxford Park in Sunderland, SR3 3XR
We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Works Scheduler in our fast-paced Dispatch team.
As the key contact between the customer and our field-based gas operatives you will be communicating and scheduling reported gas emergencies (and non-emergencies) to our operations teams. The role is pivotal in supporting customers internally and externally whilst ensuring safety and that standards of service are met which are defined by our regulator OFGEM.
Working hours are on an alternating shift basis. Over three weeks you will work a seven-day pattern of shifts between the hours of 07:00 – 23:00.
- You will deliver a first-class customer service to internal and external customers by overseeing the activities of all field-based staff to ensure they comply with field procedures
- You will liaise with field-based staff and Emergency Site Managers regarding the scheduling and dispatching of work to ensure safety, customer satisfaction and efficiency are delivered
- There will be the expectation that you will operate within business continuity procedures, to assist and support the Dispatch Team Leader throughout and after BCM events
- At all times you will be expected to communicate effectively with all customers including field-based personnel, and Site Managers
- You will work within, and promote the philosophy of, safe team working, innovative thinking and putting the customer first
- You will be willing to work an alternating shift pattern which includes weekends, Bank Holidays, and evening work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with customers
- Excellent user of Microsoft systems and able to pick up new systems easily
- Excellent communication, prioritisation, and decision-making skills

- Up to 5% bonus (dependent upon achievement of set targets)
- 25 days annual leave (plus recognised bank holidays and 2 half days over the Christmas period)
