What are we looking for?
Reporting to the Protective Services Supervisor, the Protective Services Emergency Response Officer forms part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and assists the Protective Services Department in leading Cleveland Clinic London's (CCL) Regional Security Operations, London Security Operations Center (LSOC), combined with emergency & disaster management functions to reduce risks to people, property and activities in the organization.
The Protective Services Emergency Response Officer will be CCL’s primary first responder to all code calls and emergency situations requiring a rapid response and further investigation, this applies both inside and outside of normal office hours. The ERT officers act as a resource for the LSOC team members working on shifts, always available and deployable.
What will your duties include?
- Provide emergency first responder support and security oversight to the Security Supervisor for all Protective Service Operations
- Respond to all incoming and outgoing communications from the LSOC
- Respond to all security phone calls, emergency calls and alarms in line with the CCL Emergency Operations Plan and Business Continuity Plan, and specific code call procedures
- Responsible for security & emergency management operations; duties will include working with the CCL management and protective services to ensure the delivery of security operations, training, security awareness, loss prevention, and investigation
- Responsible for the efficient and effective emergency response capabilities, as directed by the London Security Operations Center (LSOC)
- Support the department in its strategic plan, monitor and evaluate programmatic and operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with Caregivers to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and Caregivers
- To be committed to the continual improvement of health, safety and security at Cleveland Clinic London
Working Hours?
Shift work will be required:
- Operate 24/7/365
- 12 Hour rotating shifts
- Pattern: 2 Days – 2 Nights – 4 Days off
- Overtime available as Protective Services is self-covering
What we need from you?
- Up to date Security experience within a corporate or healthcare background (Highly Desirable)
- Security NVQ’s (Required)
- Military or Police training (Desired)
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor (Desired)
- Corporate security experience (Desired)
