Summer Analyst Program 2024

The program duration is 10 weeks starting in late June 2024 & is designed to provide you with the unique opportunity to discover our CIB business, culture & how we collaborate to deliver solutions for our clients. The program offers organised activities such as classroom training & networking opportunities to boost your professional development.

In addition to working alongside employees who are experts in their respective products & coverage, you will complete a major project & present to a panel of senior leaders at the end of the program.

Banking and Capital Markets ("BCM") Overview

The BCM team sits within Wells Fargo's Corporate and Investment Bank and is dedicated to understanding the unique competitive and operating environments of our clients. The group combines strong relationships and industry knowledge with superior capital markets and advisory capabilities that includes debt underwriting, loan syndications and corporate finance solutions. The team maintains active relationships with a broad universe of large corporate, financial sponsor and institutional clients, and is highly experienced in delivering exceptional execution. BCM is organised across coverage and product teams.

Coverage Teams

Provides a full range of services to clients across the following client types:
  • Corporate Banking
  • Financial Institutions
  • Fund Finance
Product Teams

Provides a full range of execution capabilities and services to clients in the following products:
  • Debt Capital Markets and Advisory
  • Real Estate Syndicated Finance
  • Loan Syndications
Required
  • Penultimate year of university with an expected graduation date of no later than June 2025
  • Demonstratable interest in finance through work experience or extra-curricular achievement
  • A record of academic excellence
  • Have the relevant right to work in the UK or EEA
Desired
  • A personality that is engaging, flexible, organised, conscientious, initiative-taking, & detail-oriented
  • An ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines & achieve goals, all whilst working in a dynamic & complex environment
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and solve analytical problems, with a basic understanding of mathematical principles
