With over 20 years experience in the workwear & PPE industry, we supply a vast range of Health & Safety solutions to businesses in the North East and Nationally. Our trade counter in Cramlington stocks many leading manufacturers of high-quality PPE, workwear and safety accessories (Tranemo Workwear, Lyngsoe Rainwear, JSP, Rockfall, BSD, Moldex, Carhartt etc.). We also provide additional support services to our customers through our in-house Training & Innovation Centre.
The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Embroidery & Print Room Assistant to join our small but growing team at our Cramlington branch. We use industrial embroidery machines for framing and finishing (Happy Embroidery Machines), so experience in using these or other types of embroidery machines would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate for this role must be a team player, have excellent administrative abilities, attention to detail and a flexible approach to working whilst achieving high standards of results.
Responsibilities:
· Picking orders to be embroidered or printed.
· Framing up garments ready to go on to the machines.
· Logo Trimming & Removal of backing from embroidered garments.
· General cleaning and maintenance of working areas.
· Heat-sealing prints onto garments.
· Quality control checking of branded garments.
· Folding and packing finished orders.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £22,000.00 per year
