We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Email Marketing Assistant to join our Digital Engagement team on a fixed term contract until the end of December 2023. You will join us working 35 hours per week and will be based remotely. In return you will receive a salary of up to £25,765.62 per annum plus excellent benefits.

Cats Protection’s Digital Engagement team, based in the Marketing and Income Generation Directorate, looks after email marketing, social media and video production for the charity. Small but busy, the Digital Engagement team produces insightful email marketing campaigns, informative cat care videos and inspiring social media content. We work hard at building an engaged community of cat lovers online so that we can promote better feline welfare, raise funds and create a better world for cats. You’ll be assisting the Email Marketing team with the creation of email campaigns, data processes and administrative duties, all while working closely with teams from across the organisation.
Responsibilities of our Email Marketing Assistant:
As our Email Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for helping deliver the charity’s national and regional email marketing programmes via Cats Protection’s email platform (currently DotDigital) end to end, from conception to delivery to evaluation.
What we’re looking for in our Email Marketing Assistant:
- Experience using email marketing platforms and databases
- Knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data regulations
- Experience of assisting with the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with clear, concise email copy writing skills
