Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build test sets and cable assemblies from schematics and assembly drawings utilizing hole and SMT technology.
- Assist engineering in construction and rework of electromechanical prototypes.
- Perform routine calibration of electronic instruments and coordinate outside calibration for equipment that cannot be calibrated in-house.
- Work with engineering to troubleshoot equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Associate degree in electronics, avionics, or a related field with a basic understanding of electronic circuit theory.
- Comfortable reading and editing schematics and drawings.
- Proficient in using computers with a strong drive to learn new tools to work effectively with engineering.
- Experience as an electronics technician in an ISO or AS9100 facility is preferred.
