EMAG Technologies Inc. is looking for an Electronics Engineering Technician to support the growth of the business. We are a high-tech company based in Ann Arbor, MI that develops and markets software and hardware solutions for analysis, characterization and diagnosis of RF and wireless systems and devices. The successful candidate will be a part of a high energy team of engineers working in the areas of RF and microwave circuits and antennas for communications and radar applications. This is a full-time salaried position with comprehensive health benefits and a 401K option.

Job Description:

This position involves fabrication, assembly, and test of electronic components. Specifically, it involves:

• Programming and operation of surface mount pick-and-place machinery

· Hand soldering, building cables and wire harnesses, and box building

• Conducting test and inspection of electronic hardware according to written test procedures

Position Requirements:

· Associates degree in Electronics Technology or 3+ years of highly relevant experience

· Experience with PCB assembly, including automated pick-and-place and hand soldering

· Familiar with basic electronics lab equipment, including bench supplies, multimeter, oscilloscope, etc

· Experience with hand assembly of cables, wire harnesses, and electronics boxes

· Experience following written test procedures and documenting test results

· Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

· Experience with PCB layout

· Experience in analog design, such as basic power supplies, and digital design, including experience with microcontrollers and embedded code

· Experience with mechanical prototyping, including with a 3D printer and CNC router

· Basic knowledge of RF systems, such as for radar and communications

· Willingness to learn all of the above

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
