Company Description
T Protheroe Electrical Contracting Limited employ a team of qualified and part-qualified electricians and are based in Porthcawl, South Wales. The company has over 30 years experience, holds NICEIC certification and provides electrical services to commercial, industrial and domestic customers. We also utilise the services of subcontractors as necessary to expand the team's capabilities and resourcing.
Job Description
We are initially seeking 2 enthusiastic, reliable, conscientious, self-motivated and flexible self-employed qualified Electricians to subcontract to our company. The individuals will join an exciting new project starting early Summer mainly based around the south coast of England, with plans to go national around the UK from the Autumn. We are seeking individuals with good industrial/commercial experience (not solely domestic).
Fully qualified electricians can earn around £1000 to £1400 per week (CIS), based on completion of the required hours/job.
Applicants must have an ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) and at least three years of hands on experience. Candidates will ideally have IPAF (as some work may be carried out at heights) and C&G 2391 (Inspection and Testing), but we may be able to support completion of these qualifications for the right candidates.
Depending on the successful applicant's home location, there may be a potential to share transport or you can provide your own. Accommodation can also be arranged by the Company (with costs deductible) or you can arrange yourself.
Payment for hours worked will be processed in accordance with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements, and upon receipt of invoices. We may consider recruiting the right person as an employee into our company, in which case you would be salaried through the PAYE system (and entitled to holiday pay and access to the company pension scheme).
