Electrician - Water South
Location: Reading

MAIN PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the ICA Lead, the Electrician will support the ICA Lead & Site Coordinator in all aspects of electrical works including collating site survey electrical information. The Electrician must ensure that all works are completed to the clients and industry required standards to time, cost and quality, reporting any issues in a timely manner to the ICA Lead for assistance with resolution.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all aspects of Electrical works under their control. Including safety checks and industry standards, reporting an non-compliance to the ICA Lead and Client.
Respond timeously on progress and to all requests from the ICA Lead.
Liaise with other site teams to ensure works are completed.
Complete quality checks of work to ensure required standards are met. Quality assure others work and where necessary highlight corrections to be made during site works.
Monitor and report progress against plan, highlighting any delays to the ICA Lead in order to mitigate and manage change in the project delivery.
Communicate with the site teams prior to, during and after commissioning.
Provide electrical support and knowledge to other team members.
Complete handover documentation within the required timescales. Completion of NIC Certification for handover.
Complete required Health & Safety actions on a site by site basis, recording and reporting on the Bilfinger UK Systems (Active)
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Industrial Electrical Works- Water Industry(desirable)
- Completed similar role
- Brodersen (desirable)
- Quality Assurance
- Back Up Control(desirable)
- 18th Edition IEE Regulations
- Knowledge of SCADA/Tep 2/Tep1 (desirable)
18th Edition IEE Regulations
ECS Card
Certification/Qualification in Electrical /Electronic Engineering.
Water Card (EUSR) (Not Essential)
Thames Water Passport (Not Essential)
2391 Inspection(desirable)
