Job description
Sabio Recruitment are looking for an experienced warehouse operative with some manufacturing experience to drive a new business forward with a keenness to develop practices and procedures for ultimate efficiency. You will be based in Acton, Sudbury so your own transport is essential due to the location. This role is physically demanding and a current counterbalance FLT licence is imperative.
Hours of work:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary:
£25,000 per annum
As a Warehouse Operative you will:
· Run machinery to produce cardboard bedding – including breaking up baled material to run through in feed. Take out finished product from baler.
· Stack and wrap finished baled product.
· Load & unload vehicles using FLT.
· Ensure machines are cleaned daily along with any day-to-day maintenance.
· Ensure that general housekeeping of main shop floor is completed.
· Log production output and received material.
· Input customer deliveries into courier system.
· Meet set production targets.
You should:
· Have relevant experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role.
· Be physically fit due to the size and weight of finished baled product.
· Hold a driving licence and have own transport due to office location.
· Have a valid, in date counterbalance FLT licence.
· Work well as part of a team.
· Be able to work within set production targets.
· Have a positive and driven attitude.
· Be patient and willing to input into improving daily efficiencies.

This role is temporary with possibility for permanent employment for the right candidate.
