We’re looking for Electricians to join our Utilities team across Devon & Cornwall!
Location: Positions available across Devon & Cornwall – company van provided for travel across sites
Contract: Permanent- Full Time
Salary: £14.25 - £18.50 per hour, depending on experience plus opportunities earn standby & overtime
Responsibilities
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected and in this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract.
Your day to day will include:
Install, modify and commission water industry equipment such as pumps, motors, water quality instrumentation all to relevant industry and technical standards
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on systems and plant
Creating reports and liaising with client and company management where necessary
Carry out full NICEIC testing of newly installed and legacy equipment as per BS7671
What are we looking for?
This role of Electrician is great for you if you hold:
Electrical Apprenticeships e.g. City and Guilds, EAL
Relevant electrical testing qualification such as 2391
Knowledge and experience of working on industrial and control applications, with ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams
