We are currently looking for an Electrical Panel Builder to support the business in a new product line, assembling and wiring electrical control panels.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Perform assembly of control panels including drilling of back panel, layout of electrical components following layout diagram and panel wiring following electrical schematics diagram
Perform manufacturing/assembly operations and various other tasks by following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, schematics, and process aid sheets
Work alongside team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
Follow and improve health and safety policy and procedures
Maintain a high level of quality in line with company policy and procedures
Sustain the required daily production output level
Support the complete supply chain from manufacture to assembly, basic testing, packaging, and shipping

Essential Criteria:

Possess a ‘can do attitude’
Have a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
Experience of panel wiring
Ability to read and understand control panel layout diagram and electrical schematics diagram.

Desirable Criteria:

Manufacturing experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly
Familiar with automated cable cutting and labelling machines.
Knowledge of lean principles including single piece flow, 5S and standard work
Computer literate
