We are currently looking for an Electrical Panel Builder to support the business in a new product line, assembling and wiring electrical control panels.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly of control panels including drilling of back panel, layout of electrical components following layout diagram and panel wiring following electrical schematics diagram
• Perform manufacturing/assembly operations and various other tasks by following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, schematics, and process aid sheets
• Work alongside team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
• Follow and improve health and safety policy and procedures
• Maintain a high level of quality in line with company policy and procedures
• Sustain the required daily production output level
• Support the complete supply chain from manufacture to assembly, basic testing, packaging, and shipping

Essential Criteria:

• Possess a ‘can do attitude’
• Have a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
• Experience of panel wiring
• Ability to read and understand control panel layout diagram and electrical schematics diagram.

Desirable Criteria:

• Manufacturing experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly
• Familiar with automated cable cutting and labelling machines.
• Knowledge of lean principles including single piece flow, 5S and standard work
• Computer literate
