The role


We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Electrical Supervisor QS in Camden. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for ensuring all works are allocated and completed to time, cost and quality standards, through supervising electricians.
  • Responsible for carrying out pre and post inspections of all portion of works issued.
  • Responsible for carrying out high quality work, ensuring electrical certifications has been completed and to maintain Tool box talks with the team.
  • Responsible for ensuring contractor payments are made on time, ensuring accuracy when obtaining certifications from contractors and in house staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained in line with company policy.
  • Responsible for the delivery of a repairs and maintenance service that complies with all legislative and regulatory requirements in respect of directly employed operatives and maintenance contracts.
  • Develop and maintain effective KPIs to ensure time, quality, cost and customer service standards are met
  • Develop and produce written reports and analysis for Management in respect of the outputs of the service
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures and processes are followed by staff at all times

What you will need to succeed

  • Have good customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated, assertive and confident
  • Experience within the construction sector
  • A good understanding of legislation in maintenance and property management
  • Supervisor experience in an electrical capacity.
  • Housing and/or Buildings knowledge
  • Proven track record of staff supervision
  • Good track record of staff management and development


Professional Qualifications and Membership:


  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations.
  • BS7671 Current Edition.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Test.

The offer


Salary:
£46,000 to £50,000 per year

Location: Hybrid working, 2-3 days in the office and the rest on site.

Contract: Full-time (35 hours per week) , permanent position.
