Electrical Maintenance Fitter
5 - 16 Week Contract
Location: North West
Rate: £25-30p/h (PAYE/Umbrella/Ltd - Outside IR35)
Shifts: Panama Shifts. Day and Nights - 7-7
I am currently looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Fitter for an upcoming role with a well regarded client. You will ideally have experience in both installation and maintenace, be a team player and, if possible, have experience of working in a food manufacturing environment.
The role of the Electrical Maintenance Fitter will involve the following:
- Reactive breakdowns & PPM work electrically
- Fault find and repair on process control with PLC, inverter, servo, instrumentation, and data logging skills, applicable to modern high-speed packaging equipment
- Fixing or Installing fast paced industrial machinery (gears/motors/conveyors/bearings etc)
- Dealing with temp controls, temp data loggers and instrumentation like pressure transmitters, flow controls etc
- PLCs – mostly Siemens, also Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi is beneficial but not required
- Trouble shoot, find a solution, choose kit, set it up/install, set parameters and make improvements
As Maintenance Engineer you will need the following skills and attributes:
- Time served apprentice trained or NVQ L3 required
- 17th/18th Edition highly desirable
- Pro-active, driven, ability to work independently
- Have an attention to detail and able to suggest improvements
