Our Electrical Engineers operate on a scale and precision not even imagined by many other sectors. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in the life cycle management of our unique equipment. You will specify, design, build, install, commission and maintain a huge range of machines, ensuring that high performance is maintained and that the highest safety standards are met.

The Candidate
You must have at least a 2:1 Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
In an ideal world, you’ll already have some relevant work experience too, perhaps gained through an internship or through paid or voluntary work.
Driven, passionate and tenacious, your strong sense of personal accountability is bolstered by your eye for the bigger picture. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to inspire trust and build engagement are also essential.

The Graduate Programme

Tata Steel offers a development programme, with a 70-20-10 model of learning and the opportunity to achieve your first appointment from the 12-month mark, dependent on your progress.
During that first 12 months, we will give you real projects to deliver, along with formal training to help you develop your programme skills, influence people and manage effectively. During this time, you will have opportunities to work collaboratively with various departments to discover the best solutions whilst ensuring solutions proposed align with business strategic goals.
