About the Role
This advanced apprenticeship programme in electrical and instrumentation is designed to develop you over 4 years to reach a minimum level of a skilled shift electrical and instrumentation technician. You will develop your skills through a mix of on-the-job training as well as gaining formal qualifications through college attendance. Whilst at work you will be putting your learnings into practice, working with an experienced and friendly team who are keen to support you.

What You Will Do
You will obtain a nationally recognised apprenticeship as a Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician, which includes qualifications at Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations, Level 3 Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Maintenance Engineering. If you demonstrate the right level of knowledge growth and commitment during your apprenticeship, you will also have the opportunity to study for a HNC Engineering qualification in the final two years.
Who You Are
We would love to hear from you if you can show the following
· A minimum of GCSE grade 6/B (achieved or predicted) in maths
· A minimum of GCSE grade 5/C (achieved or predicted) in English, a science and two other subjects
· The ability to solve problems independently
· You can work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively
· You like to take on new challenges and work outside of your comfort zone
· You can successfully balance study and working life
· You take pride in your work and take self-ownership of tasks
