The role will be based at their offices in Warwick, and with regular site visits. Your average day can vary from site surveys across the various fields that we operate, to multi disciplined design projects.

- Produce electrical designs across various projects within various industries.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Construction, Health & Safety Plan, Environmental Plan and Quality Plan.
- Responsible for the development of economical costed solutions from the analysis of Client tender documentation.
- Designing solutions with buildability at the forefront of your mind
- Responsible for the survey and design of Low Voltage electrical systems (up to 1000v A.C.), DC systems and UPS systems for implementation across the UK
- Ensure designs are risk assessed in accordance with CDM obligations.
- Responsible for the verification of designs against all contractual requirements and relevant BS or Industry standards.
- Responsible for the production of material and equipment lists to support subsequent build phases.
- Responsible for provided technical support to site-based resource relating to installation and commissioning activities.
- Responsible for the production of as-built documentation and associated test results for Health and Safety File documentation
- Report against programme to relevant programmes
- Provide support to the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
- Experienced Electrical Design Engineer
- Attention to detail and pride in all works
- Experience in Earthing and bonding arrangements for low voltage electrical installations
- In depth knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations.
- Proficient in the use of 2D CAD software to produce electrical scheatics/elevations/layouts
- Proficient in the use of cable calcs software (Amtech or equivalent)
- IT literate, with experience on MS Office applications.
- High problem solving skills
- Experience in Projects in NWR environment (Desirable)
- Experience in green energy solutions/installations (Desirable)
- City & Guilds 2396 Design, Erection and Verification
- City & Guilds 2391 (Desirable)
- City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition Wiring Requirements for Electrical Installations
- Lightning protection (Desirable)
- City and Guilds 2921-31/32/33- Electric Vehicle Charging Installations (Desirable)
- EAL Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems (Desirable)

Key Information:
- Based in Warwick with site visits dependent on project requirements
- Flexible start and finish times (Project needs dependent)
- 22 days annual leave per calendar year, + bank holidays + birthday
- Loyalty length in service annual leave increases
- Annual salary of between £35,000 – £45,000. Annual performance related salary review
