Job Description: Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative electrical designs and solutions that integrate cutting-edge technologies such as VR/AR, Digital Twin, and intelligent devices. Your expertise in leveraging intelligent devices to extract useful data and provide predictive maintenance and end-of-life notifications will be essential in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical systems: Design, develop, and optimize electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent devices and cutting-edge technologies into the electrical design process.
2. Utilize VR/AR and Digital Twin technologies: Leverage VR/AR and Digital Twin technologies to visualize, simulate, and analyze electrical designs, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and safety. Use these technologies to identify potential issues and provide effective solutions.
3. Integrate intelligent devices: Incorporate intelligent devices, such as I/O link-enabled devices, into the electrical design process. Ensure seamless integration and compatibility with existing systems. Extract valuable data from these devices to enable predictive maintenance, device end-of-life notifications, and other user-centric functionalities.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful implementation of electrical designs. Communicate effectively to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members and clients.
5. Perform testing and troubleshooting: Conduct testing and troubleshooting activities to validate the functionality and performance of electrical systems. Identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously stay abreast of emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical design, intelligent devices, and related technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the design process and enhance system performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a focus on integrating intelligent devices into electrical systems.
- Proficient in using VR/AR and Digital Twin technologies for electrical design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of intelligent devices, such as I/O link-enabled devices, and their integration in design processes.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques, device end-of-life notifications, and other user-centric functionalities.
- Solid understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
