Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the chance to stretch your engineering skills, grow as an individual, and take on new challenges and responsibilities.

As a Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Fostering and maintaining customer relationships through technical discussions, both with internal and external customers.
• Take responsibility for optimising electrical design and functionality whilst keeping within project schedules and cost limitations.
• Collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineers and the Project Manager to ensure desired functionality and performance.
• Collect and analyse test data, present reliable conclusions, and produce reports.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, including manuals, diagrams, and software packages.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 3-4 years of experience in qualified design, programming, and commissioning of machines and systems
• Proficiency in leading electrical design and PLC/HMI programming
• Knowledge of PC, PLC, Database, and systems, including Siemens PLCs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement innovative solutions

Salary:

£40,000 - £55,000 + benefits
