In this role you will…
- Own and maintain the Safety Management System that ensures legislative compliance required under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. (Managed through the HSG 65 document).
- Policy & Major Accident Prevention Plan
- EHS Guidance documents.
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Incident investigation including ZAP system ownership.
- Reporting both on and off site.
- Regulator response co-ordination.
- EHS action tracking.
- Process Hazard review action tracking.
- Risk assessment tracking and maintenance.
- Maintenance of a good EHS library, filing and archiving system.
- Own the EHS audit program for the site, both level 1 & 2 including the audit universe.
- PPC register and report tracking.
- Ensure all EHS training material is up to date and relevant. Deliver EHS training.
- Ownership of certain elements of EHS (to be agreed with the incumbent eg driving on company business.)
- Maintain the EHS Performance management boards.
- Organise the EHS Council (the health and safety committee meeting
