Job Title: EHR Digital Programme Clinical Safety Officer
Employer: HCA Healthcare UK (Private patient healthcare provider)
Location: 1 London Bridge with expectation to visit other sites
Salary Range: £60000-£70000 dependent upon relevant experience
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract 2-2.5 years dependent upon project completion date.

Therefore, we are investing in a new workforce to lead this change, and we are actively recruiting now for a 2023 start, focused on change management, transforming work practices, and project delivery of goals and objectives.
Opportunity overview;
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Safety Officer, a registered clinician by background, who is operating within a digital healthcare project leadership team, to be part of our journey, with expectations as listed below;
- Working as a trusted partner and adviser to the project senior leadership team (SLT) to ensure that technology is used effectively and safely, supporting the safe development and use of the EHR within HCA.
- Your priority will be to work with the risk management leads to compile the clinical risk management plan for electronic health records programme and ensure Clinical Governance is embedded in new practice.
- You will further ensure that the a policy of Clinical Risk Management for Digital Health Systems is developed and followed for all Clinical digital projects/programmes.
- The duties extend to be involved in reporting, investigating and resolving clinical safety incidents linked to the digital health solutions and recommendations on the safety of digital health applications. Managing audits, risk evaluations, and delivering training.
- You will also be required to work with the digital change leads to support the EHR roll out and transformation of new digital systems and technologies.
Successful candidates will need:
- Registered Body Clinician with experience of acting as a key contributor to clinically based digital projects
- Clinical Safety Officer Qualification
- Excellent customer care and influential stakeholder management skills to be the bridge to the relationships and interaction of the HCA business, IT, project teams and Clinical Risk Management Teams.
- Proactive individual who is solution and delivery focused with the ability to adapt, work in a fast paced environment, responding to the needs of a changing and diverse workforce requirements
