Egg Collector / General Farm Worker Devizes, England
Job description
We are a family business with two sites, producing organic and free range eggs. Majority of these go to supermarkets with some being sold locally.
We are looking for a Farm Worker to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of production and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, packing and preparing eggs for transport, as well as checking and monitoring animal welfare and perofrming duties to ensure top quality egg production. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the agricultural industry, a strong work ethic, and be a good team player.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, pack and prepare eggs for collection.
- Carry out Bird Welfare checks and escalate as required.
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Monitor and record daily numbers etc for auditing purposes.
- Perform general maintenance tasks on the farm.
- Be able to work unsupervised often alone.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 -35 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
