£32,020 - £35,411 per year. The Education Welfare Service are looking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team, as an Education Welfare Officer (EWO). This will be a full time role and temporary until 31st March 2023 in the first instance.

The successful candidate will work alongside a team committed to providing professional, quality support to schools, children, young people and families so that children and young people can benefit from the educational opportunities provided to them. Training will be provided where needed, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with many different departments of the directorate as well as wider council services and external agencies.
The successful candidate will join a welcoming, inclusive and hardworking team including a variety of skilled and passionate professional practitioners. This post is temporary cover current interim arrangements.
