EDUCATION WELFARE & ATTENDANCE OFFICER
Term time plus one week (staff inset days to be worked)
37 hours per week, 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Grade 8, SCP 25-30,
Full Time Equivalent £32,020 - £36,298 per annum.
Actual Salary £26,888 - £30,481 pro rata, per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Education Welfare & Attendance Officer.

The role of Education Welfare and Attendance Officer is to work to improve school attendance, punctuality and behaviour through effective working with pupils, families and outside agencies.
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- Excellent skills in terms analysing data and producing reports
- Experience of working with children or young people
- Sound knowledge of education welfare work
- Provide high level of support to teachers and pupils
- Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
