Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide effective higher-level business support to the Education Support Service with a key priority to school governance support and Family Information Service Directory.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide higher level administrative support to meet the requirements of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for school governor support across Oldham Schools.
- To provide administrative support in the recruitment and induction of new governors, new Chairs of governors, and clerks to governing boards.
- To assist with the management and quality assurance of central databases
- To support with the sharing, monitoring, implementation, and access to up-to-date online information for governors, professionals, and families.
- To work closely with other teams and services to ensure that information provided is up to date, accurate and comprehensive.
- Support with promoting the work of the team and dealing with enquiries by telephone calls, e-mails and face to face ensuring that schools, governors, and families receive accurate information and appropriate support.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively advise and provide customer service to Headteachers, school governors, members of the public, other services, and staff in schools.
- Ability to prioritise and take responsibility for your own workload.
- Ability to use your initiative, pay attention to detail and to respond to unexpected problems using recognised procedures & policies as a guide.
- Able to efficiently use computer packages for emails, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and researching and sharing information.
