We have an exciting opportunity for a Education Support Administrator for Academy21 to join our team working remotely on a full-time permanent position.

About the Education Support Administrator for Academy21 role:
Job Title – Education Support Administrator for Academy21
Location – Based in the UK - working remotely from home.
Start Date – ASAP
Salary Range - Up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Position and Working Hours:
- Full Time Hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Monday to Friday
- Permanent Contract
- Report to directly into our Head of Academy21
The successful candidate will be familiar with educational settings and the range of tasks needed to be undertaken. They will need to have sound IT skills and an eye for detail, and with the ability to be flexible when switching between different IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with current cover processes so that lessons are allocated to covering teachers or supervisors and the ‘master timetable’ is kept up to date.
- Upload teaching resources to classrooms where cover is required.
- Liaise with the cover manager regarding pre-planned cover for Academy21 teachers.
- Create new groups on the IT system in accordance with timetable changes.
- Liaise with the IT Services team re a range of IT and administrative tasks.
- Liaise with mentors regarding information requests.
- Assist with the ‘merging’ of groups when this is needed for cover or other purposes.
- Assist with the setting up of new Canvas courses during the summer term.
- Create new groups for the new academic year during the summer period.
- Work closely with the head and heads of subject to respond to various requests for admin support
Key Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Experience in working as part of an administrative team.
- A level Qualifications.
- Familiarity with a range of MS Office software, including MS Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience of education IT systems.
- An appreciation of the online learning environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Motivated to achieve excellence for self and others.
- The ability to be flexible and learn how different IT systems work.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection in relation to school systems and processes
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent team-working skills.
