The Role
We are looking for a passionate and effective EHS Education Manager to join our team. Our health, safety, mental health and environmental management training courses are delivered either in the form of classroom sessions, live online, or via our digital learning platform.
The main purpose of this role is to provide an outstanding learning experience for all our students whilst acting as an ambassador for BSC. The EHS Education Manager will deliver excellent remote learner support for all our training courses and ensure that all work tasks are performed to the highest standard, emphasising quality and service. The ideal EHS Education Manager will have experience in NEBOSH and IOSH course delivery and development. This is a critical role needed to drive our already successful Education division. The role may include occasional travel to attend meetings.
The successful Education Manager applicant will have:
- 2-3 years experience teaching health and safety courses
- experience in delivering NEBOSH Level 6
- strong experience in managing team(s) undertaking a varied range of tasks and supporting their development to work as individuals and as a team
- experience in providing support to field-based staff and associates
- experience in managing costs effectively to increase profitability
- experience in contributing towards and delivering strategy objectives
- treat all delegates with respect and fairness and uphold the British Safety Council’s policy on diversity
- support individual learning styles and have a genuine passion and design for coaching, developing and helping others
- be a self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to manage timekeeping and workload effectively
- be able to build effective relationships with students and clients, creating a positive, enthusiastic outlook
- ensure that all tasks highlighted in the job description are performed to the highest standards, emphasising quality and service
