DESCRIPTION
Calderdale College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, exceptional, appropriately qualified and experienced individual to work in the department of Teacher Education. The primary focus of the role will be the development and delivery of a group of school focused programmes including Level 3 Qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Understanding Autism, and the Principles of Special Educational Needs. There will also be the opportunity to work with school and other educational settings to develop bespoke training to meet their identified needs.
The person appointed will be a high performing and focused individual, with the ambition and drive to deliver and achieve challenging targets. The main purpose of the role is to work as part of the Teacher Education team to develop and deliver courses focused on improving the practice of teachers, assessors and teaching assistants.
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of education and working with individuals with additional needs, an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children and young people, with a proven track record of outstanding success in previous roles. This role requires someone who is solution orientated and innovative but who has the drive and determination to achieve success in all aspects of the role.
