Young Giants is a holistic and inclusive term-time tuition and mentoring service, supporting children who are temporarily out of school (alternative provision) via daytime one-to-one tuition and mentoring in a child's home or venue within their community.
Founded and run by qualified teachers we are a managed education service (not a tuition agency), meaning we remain responsible for the management and quality of the education we provide. Working closely with our tutors and any multi-disciplinary team around the child, we assess and maintain effective and needs-based packages of education support.
Changing outcomes, changing lives by re-engaging children and young people with their education is the driving force behind our work and we pride ourselves on taking an extremely personalised and flexible approach for our learners. Building on our growing success, we are now seeking to recruit a similarly passionate, creative and proactive Education Facilitator to support the management of a new client caseload of learners.
Young Giants is an incredibly positive place for both our learners and our staff, and we hold very high tutor retention rates. Our collaborative approach ensures tutors and in-house staff feel supported as part of a team and our learners feel heard. Our staff team reports high job satisfaction as we are able to bring a significant and positive impact in some extremely complex cases. In-house staff build strong and rewarding relationships with other professionals from across the fields of education, health and social care as well as with the families of our learners.
Job Description:

The role is a combination of customer service and personnel management and therefore requires a candidate with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company and become a key part of its growth.
The Education Facilitator will work remotely from home and as such, we do not require our applicants to be in a particular geographical location. There may be occasional day trips to London for Team Aways Days.
