ABOUT YOUNG GIANTS:
Young Giants is a holistic and inclusive term-time tuition and mentoring service, supporting children who are temporarily out of school (alternative provision) via daytime one-to-one tuition and mentoring in a child's home or venue within their community.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Educational Facilitator you will be supporting the Education Programme Lead in all aspects of delivering the day-to-day logistical operations of delivering tuition packages, monitoring and reporting attendance and holding tutors accountable for reporting deadlines for a given caseload of learners pertaining to a particular client or group of clients (local authorities) – known as a ‘Pod’.
You will ensure our clients and learners receive best-in-class service and that our tutors provide the level of quality required. The role is a combination of customer service and personnel management.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Assessing learner documentation, ensuring appropriate information is shared with tutors and reporting any persistent reporting failures to the Education Programme Lead and Quality Assurance Lead
- Liaising with parents, tutors, and other stakeholders to set up and maintain appropriate and mutually convenient timetables of tuition. This includes the ability to respond to changing situations/needs and clearly communicating changes with all stakeholders.
- Keeping in contact with parents and tutors throughout the tuition set-up process and ongoing programme
- Ensuring that all activity is reflected on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and that all contact records and timetables are kept up-to-date
- Tracking tutor session attendance through the CRM system
- Ensuring tutors are engaging with the Young Giants Tutor Portal on a lesson-by-lesson basis
- Tracking learner attendance and reporting to relevant stakeholders and Education Programme Lead
- Keeping in close communication with tutors and collating/requesting regular learner progress reports
- Raising concerns with the Education Programme Lead and/or Quality Assurance Lead pertaining to client, parent or tutor relationships
- Attending official meetings for learners when required by the Education Programme Lead
- Assessing the requirement for new tutor recruitment and working with the Recruitment Coordinator to quickly fill any gaps
- Monitoring tutor availability and skills set in order to support Education Programme Lead with programme set-up and alteration
- Working with the Education Programme Lead to locate and book tuition venues in the community
- Assisting the senior management team with organisational tasks as necessary
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong organisational skill
- Methodical and Accurate
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the UK education system would be advantageous
- Work to strict deadlines
You may have experience of the following: Schools administration, school secretary, education coordinator, Administrator, online coordinator, etc
SCHEDULE:
Once shortlisted, Candidates will be required to complete two interviews. Dates to be agreed
THE PACKAGE:
- Location: Remote Role – will need to travel for some Team away days in London
- Contract: Full time, Permanent
- Salary: £26,000 PA
