WEA have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to join our South East team. The role will include the development and delivery of Multiply (maths) provision across the West Sussex area.
The Coordinator will support the successful delivery of the Multiply project. Ensuring the engagement and delivery of numeracy interventions
The Coordinator will work closely with the learners and the Multiply Assurance Lead. The Multiply Coordinator will co-ordinate and where needed deliver Multiply education provision in a specific area of a region.
The post holder will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

- The Coordinator will engage and deliver personalised one to one and small group maths related sessions, including financial awareness.
- Engage with and co-design with employers, programmes that improve maths skills within the workplace;
- Progress participants towards increased numeracy skills including functional skills qualifications;
- Ensure the quality of the student experience is to a high standard;
- Establish, develop and maintain effective internal and external partnerships with communities and employers to increase participation;
- Collect data and report on participation, success, and progression;
- Contribute and fully comply with quality improvement systems, processes and procedures;
- Ensure a safe supportive and quality learning environment, which encourages high levels of educational attainment through outstanding pastoral support.

As a Coordinator, you should have:
- A degree, or equivalent, with a teaching qualification;
- A good understanding of the width and depth of the post-19 curriculum offer and qualifications
- The ability to identify trends including current performance measures
- Experience of the development of teaching, learning and assessment in further education
- The ability to support, mentor and coach students and individuals in order that they can reach their potential and to ensure continuous improvement of quality in line the Associations aspirations for students
- Experience using IT systems including Microsoft 365, ideally, experience of creating online provision as you will be required to use Canvas;
- A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other;
- A passion for adult education, and making a difference!
