National Education Consultant- Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia
Do you have a passion for education, a talent for sales, and a love of travel? If so, then you will want to join our team of Education Consultants at Big Ideas Learning!
Your work will include:
Customer Outreach
- Work in tandem with our distributor partner to position our math programs in the K-12 education market.
- Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans.
- Meet in person, or via phone/webinar with state, district, and school level educators on sales-generating activities.
- Generate, qualify, and follow up on sales leads.
- Work active sales opportunities.
Presenting and Training
- Deliver winning sales presentations to districts level admins, review committees, and teachers.
- Maintain solid customer relations and provide ongoing after-sale support, including product implementation training for both print and digital products.
- Help to inform the development of effective sales presentations based on market knowledge.
Market Information
- Gather market and competitive information to share to inform product development, sales activities, and marketing teams.
- Research national, state, and local initiatives to inform marketing, sales, and product development teams.

Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in mathematics, education, marketing, or related field
- Preferred classroom teacher and/or administrator, specifically in mathematics at the secondary level or general elementary education
- Preferred 3+ years’ experience in educational sales/publishing (but not required)
- Ability to travel 70% is a requirement
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Salesforce and Concur experience preferred
