Job Title: Classroom Support
Location: Tameside
Daily Rate: £80 – £90 per day
Start Date: September 2023
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education are actively looking for Classroom Supports with experience working with young people and young students with Special Educational Needs for our client schools in Tameside .

The school aims to provide young people with skills to overcome learning barriers for the future so that they can thrive in society.

As a successful Classroom Support, you should:

• Have experience working in a specialist School, provision, or environment.
• Have previous experience supporting the emotional and social needs of children or young people.
• Have experience assisting teachers in the classroom with pupil’s academic, emotional, and social needs.
• Be an enthusiastic educator with a dedication to supporting vulnerable young people.
• Have strong behaviour management skills and be confident towards managing challenging behaviour.
• Have experience supporting young people with autism, learning difficulties and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Have a child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
