Job description
This is an opportunity for doctors currently on London IMT training programs to spend a year working within Trusts on behalf of Health Education England as Education and wellbeing fellows.
- Development, standardisation and improved delivery of IMT SIM for all Stage 1 trainees across London-including the new IMT3 SIM programme (mainly IMT3 SIM programme)
- Continue and develop the Regional IMT Training Programme in partnership with the LMTN (London Medical Trainee Network) with a focus on a bespoke IMT3 programme (coordinating and working with our existing Ed fellow)
- Develop wellbeing initiatives for Stage 1 IMTs with the aim to reduce the level of burnout, improve their experiences and ultimately enable a higher level of achievement of curriculum competencies and retention in medical specialties.
- Improve trainee and supervisor engagement and competency using eportfolio to increase desired outcomes at ARCP.
The post holder will also work on a sustainability plan to continue their work into the future as well as share learning with other schools within the Health Education England Network
