In the Professional Products Division, our mission is to support hairdressers and develop the hair industry sustainably, while benefiting all. We’re the founding Division for the L’Oréal group, having history more than 110 years ago.

The Professional Products Division is universally known for exclusively supplying salons and other professional customers with the most advanced technologies in hair and beauty products. The 8 brands within this division are L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage and Pulp Riot. Our brands have made us the world leader in professional beauty products and one of the most dynamic places to pursue your career in the UK.

You will:

  • Work within the National & Key Accounts team and be assigned to specific National Accounts in your region.
  • Have a blended role, using both your technical ability and commercial mindset.
  • Act as a business partner, establishing and implementing business plans, solutions and carrying out regular business reviews, identifying client needs.
  • Deliver education training to your accounts, conducting in-salon training and virtual sessions 4 x per year for each salon.
  • Delivering exceptional digital and face to face education sessions, to support the growth of our customer base.
  • Establish and grow strong relationships with National Account groups, salons Managers/Franchisees and stylists.
  • Work towards targets for events, webinars, and course occupancy within all education project offering.
  • Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are in place, including the allergy alert protocol.
  • Work closely with the Education managers to ensure the education activity supports commercial outputs.
  • Create a full 360 pro-advocacy plan to increase customer and consumer awareness.
  • Establish and deliver education plans in all accounts, ensuring the highest expertise of salon staff in using and recommending products and services.
  • Implement marketing activity in all accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for increasing business through salon gap analysis, and implementing NPD, as well as actively conquesting new business.
  • Achieve salon growth by conducting salon needs assessments and business reviews for the accounts, identifying ISMS, NPD and new business opportunities across your area.
  • Create NPD Education launch plans across your area, ensuring 100% distribution once approved.
  • Implement a salon contact strategy with a blend of F2F/virtual meetings to ensure a fast go to market strategy, to pro-actively embed the brands strategy on all approved social media platforms and in line with the L’Oréal social media policy.
  • Engage, communicate and demonstrate Access to all customers ensuring registration and engagement to 24/7 on-line education for all accounts.
  • Drive maximum occupancy for all NatAcc courses, events and online activities.
  • Achieve the colour and retail account base objectives set for your territory.

You have:

  • A NVQ Level 3 as a minimum qualification and experience of teaching, educating, coaching or assessing hairdressers in a field role
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of colour
  • Experience of building relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Commercially awareness and understand the importance of selling; you must be good with figures
  • Great communication skills, and are able to give and receive feedback with positive attitude, always be approachable and keep communication flow at all levels transparent and up to date
  • A solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and manage ambiguity in ever changing and demanding environment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines
