As an Education Advisor you will facilitate, coordinate, and deliver key elements of the ULaw outreach programme for students and their key influencers. This will involve outbound calling/emailing to warm leads, and may include developing and delivering workshops, presentations, and other educational activities designed to engage and inform students about the benefits of higher education and the opportunities available.
Overall, the role is important in supporting our mission to provide high-quality education and promote greater access to higher education for all students, regardless of their background or circumstances. It will require strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to equity and social justice.

The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role must be customer-focused, interpersonal, and have the ability to negotiate effectively. The role requires frequent interaction with students and stakeholders, hence building rapport, establishing trust, and effectively communicating with others is a must. The university has huge growth plans, so we need candidates to have the drive to enable that growth year on year.
In addition to these skills, the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize the needs and preferences of the students and work to deliver an experience that meets or exceeds their expectations.
Finally, the ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a busy, highly pressured, and fast-paced working environment. This involves the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, or responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of productivity, quality, and accuracy.
Overall, the ideal candidate must possess a range of skills and qualities that enable success in a customer-focused, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. These include interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to multitask effectively.
