EDITORIAL ASSISTANT/COORDINATOR

As part of the Editorial team, you’ll be responsible for the following activities :

  • Datavision/iEnvision database management
  • Uploading feedback
  • Sending out reviews and reminders to authors
  • Closing review steps
  • Keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Editorial tasks
  • Dummy submissions
  • Submission of abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and oral presentations to journals and congresses
  • Requesting and managing copyright permissions
  • Purchasing references
  • Reviewing transcripts
  • Journal and congress liaison
  • Journal and congress research
  • Literature searches

What you’ll bring:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Basic competency in MS365 including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat/Foxit
  • Basic competency in use of databases (Datavision, iEnvision, etc)
  • Good understanding of general grammar and punctuation rules
  • Ability to work independently, with supervision, and as part of a team
  • Positive “can-do” attitude
  • Passion for learning and acquiring new skills
