This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small editorial team at one of the world’s leading art institutions. This team is also part of Tate’s Membership department, which is responsible for delivering outstanding experiences and communications for Tate’s 150,000 Members and Tate Collective. Tate Etc. is jointly operated with Tate Publishing, whose aim is to create the best new art publications and take them to the widest possible range of readers across the UK and around the world.
You will work closely with each member of the Tate Etc. and Guide team, working simultaneously across several publications at different stages of development. A love of collaboration is essential, as this role involves working with many different stakeholders, including external creatives and other departments at Tate such as Curatorial, Marketing and Design.
The role requires excellent communication and organisation skills, as well as great attention-to-detail, and you’ll enjoy operating in an open, kind, supportive, proactive and flexible working environment.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is interested in the value of art to society and wants to create outstanding and accessible editorial content to as broad a readership as possible.
Tate aims to attract and retain talent from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian, ethnic minority, and/or disabled applicants as these groups are currently underrepresented in the cultural sector.
