Responsibilities:
Editorial Assistants at Lucid work in close partnership with the Medical and Client Services teams to deliver tailored high-quality outputs. They are responsible for delivering editorial excellence in these specific client accounts. They also work closely with members of the Editorial team aligned to other client accounts to champion quality assurance and compliance across Lucid.

About the role
Editorial Assistants at Lucid work in close partnership with the Medical and Client Services teams to deliver tailored high-quality outputs. They are responsible for delivering editorial excellence in these specific client accounts. They also work closely with members of the Editorial team aligned to other client accounts to champion quality assurance and compliance across Lucid.
Our Editorial Assistants are responsible for:
- Performing editorial reviews of client- and Lucid-related materials (including, but not limited to, congress materials, educational platform content, internal and external company communications, manuscripts, meeting reports, scientific posters, slide decks, video scripts and website copy) in line with Lucid best practice
- Assuring quality through the use of editorial checklists and adherence to briefs, style guides and compliance codes
- Knowing and understanding the relevant style guide/s and compliance codes
- Mentoring Editorial and other staff on editorial processes and tools
- Contributing to Editorial team initiatives; including creating and implementing editorial best practice
- Proactively managing their own workload and deadlines, and keeping Editorial leadership informed of their work level
- Contributing to operational efficiency and business performance by adhering to Lucid processes around time keeping, resourcing and cross-functional working
- Applying the Lucid values and contributing positively to team and company culture
Essential criteria:
- A degree in a scientific, medical or life-sciences field or in a language
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent English language skills
- Proficiency in Adobe, Word, PowerPoint
Desirable criteria:
- Experience managing own time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience working collaboratively and efficiently in a cross-capability team
- Experience editing medical/scientific content
