Job description

Online publication seeks a part-time editorial assistant to gather industry news items from a selected list of publications. Duties include scanning targeted media and selecting relevant stories related to the leather, leather goods, luxury and footwear industries. Work is done remotely and requires approximately 10 hours a week. Efficiency and adherence to deadlines is a must as is a reliable internet connection. Additional editing/rewrite work is possible at a later date for those with good editorial skills. Training takes place online via Zoom.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with major footwear and fashion brands, particularly those that produce leather goods and luxury items.
  • Facility with online research and basic computer functions.
  • Please include a cover letter.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: Remote
