What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will provide both administrative and editorial support to the Orbit team and help with the day-to-day running of the imprint.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic new editorial assistant to join the team.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, efficient and proactive, with an ability to work well as part of a team. Applicants should have excellent spelling and grammar and a keen eye for detail, combined with strong administrative and IT skills (Word & Excel). Good communication skills are also a must, as is the ability to manage your time effectively, prioritise and work well under pressure. We are looking for someone with a passion for reading science fiction and fantasy and an awareness of the market.
Previous publishing experience is preferable but not essential.
