Job description
As an Editorial Specialist, you will be a member of Capital Group’s broader Marketing team and will support the production of creative, customized content for the Institutional segment of our retirement business. You will support the promotion of our institutional strategies with clients such as defined benefit and defined contribution plan sponsors, and endowments and foundations. You also are ready to support thought leadership that aims to help large plan sponsors/endowments and their investment consultants better understand markets and best practices for managing retirement plans and endowments. You are ready to use your foundational knowledge of investing, strong quantitative skills and writing talent to support the creation of content, such as white papers, web articles, brochures, emails, social posts and presentations.
You have a bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis on economics, finance, statistics, journalism, or a related field.- You have foundational knowledge of equities, fixed income, and the asset-management industry.
- You have strong quantitative analysis and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts using easy-to-understand prose.
- You have the ability to gather, understand and manipulate data in Excel to create charts and tables for communications. Experience with industry data resources is also a plus (Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)
- You have demonstrated an interest in being part of a marketing and sales organization, and you are eager to learn about our products, marketing strategy and the needs of our audiences.
