If you have previously produced high-quality journals and contributed to new initiatives such as award schemes, and sponsored supplements we'd love to hear from you. Please note a veterinary/biomedical science background is essential.
This role comes with a salary of up to £30,000, plus multiple benefits.
We're offering hybrid working, with two days a week working from our Herne Hill office, surrounded by Brockwel Park. To give you an idea of how our editor role would look and feel, here are some things you can expect to do...
- To produce Companion Animal, UK-Vet Equine, and associated publications and projects by editing, laying out pages in Adobe InDesign, writing editorials, captions and headlines, and liaising with the consultant editors and editorial board to ensure the journals are produced on time and a high level of excellence, and that the CPD modules are uploaded and available to subscribers in a timely manner.
- Commission high-quality articles relevant to the audience, manage the peer review process and ensure agreed editorial budgets are adhered to.
- Involvement in projects including award initiatives and conferences.
