Job description
EDITORIAL JOB SPECIFICATION
Broadband Communities (BBC), the leading source of information on digital and broadband technologies for communities and for buildings, is seeking an editor skilled at creating content across a range of platforms, including website, online newsletter and for social media. The role goes beyond the written word with opportunities for video, podcasting and live events.
All BBC content aims to accelerate the deployment of Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) and Fiber-

BBC offers in-depth news, expert insights and practical know-how on the technical, business, financial, and legal aspects of outfitting properties and communities with broadband solutions. With a focus on residential buildings and developments as well as municipalities, BBC helps the large-scale and wholesale buyers and users of broadband technologies, equipment, and services competitively distinguish their properties and communities in a rapidly changing marketplace.

- SOCIAL MEDIA – we are active on platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, and
Facebook. We expect the editor to enhance and develop our social media presence.
- VIDEO, WEBINARS & PODCASTS – we create a full range of multimedia content and anticipate the editor conceptualising, hosting and supporting the marketing of all such content.
- LIVE EVENTS – the editor will use their industry insight to suggest, create and moderate sessions at our conferences and take part in judging for our awards.
- INSIGHT & SUPPORT – editors are well-connected with the industry and should use this knowledge to help steer themes and potential commercial partners. You should on occasion accompany the sales team for some meetings.
We anticipate this being a hybrid role, ideally based from our Rosenberg, TX-office, and will offer the successful candidate extensive opportunities to travel to our own events and other industry events.
