The transportation infrastructure sector is experiencing unprecedented levels of investment and AtkinsRéalis is playing lead roles in projects to upgrade existing transport networks to deliver future demand including major new road schemes, high-speed rail as well as extensive public transport, town centre regeneration and active travel enhancements. Our teams are currently delivering exciting and important business case, funding bids, policy, strategy, modelling and research projects throughout the transportation sector. We are at the forefront of national and international policy making, supporting key decision makers at all levels; and are also supporting the development of cutting-edge technology in the transport sector.

The Role:
We are recruiting across all grades who can support the development of business cases and funding bids for a wide range of transport related projects. We would like to discuss our exciting range of opportunities with prospective candidates. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who wish to contribute to shaping and growing a high performing, dynamic team, working seamlessly across our national business. Our teams support our clients in finding the best outcomes for their transport challenges. We develop innovative solutions and advise on everything from project costs and benefits to the best options to unlock investment.
We have an exciting range of opportunities across disciplines and levels of experience. As a minimum, the position requires a degree level education and successful applicants will be flexible, self-motivated.
If you have experience in any of the following or similar we would love to speak to you.
- Economic appraisal and cost-benefit analysis.
- Business case development.
- Client and project stakeholder engagement.
- Scheme appraisal and business case preparation.
- Some experience in developing Funding Applications to support and secure investment for local bodies.
- Public Consultation.
- Experience of working in or around the public sector or having a transport background is not essential.
