Working together with our clients, we deliver solutions to challenging problems in Mining & Minerals, Infrastructure & Energy, and Property & Development.

The opportunity:

To meet increased demand, we are looking to increase our staff numbers to cover site surveys across the Midlands and South, with employees to be based at our Head Office in Stoke-on-Trent or at our London Office. Initially, we have 5-6 positions available on temporary 6-month contracts, though this includes an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidates.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Assist experienced ecologists with protected species surveys (and gain skills of your own in doing so);
  • Be exposed to the full breadth of ecological consultancy in a short space of time;
  • Gain insights into the planning system and infrastructure development in the UK;

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Hold a degree in ecology or a related discipline;
  • Hold, or be working towards, ‘qualifying member’ status, or higher, of CIEEM.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to develop new ecology field skills, including during unsocial hours (e.g. overnight bat surveys) and regularly away from home (expenses paid).
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team;
  • A full UK driving licence.

In addition to a salary, for 6-month positions, we offer:
