ADAS is seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our highly skilled ecology team on a full time, permanent basis to be located at our Boxworth office in Cambridge with the majority of work to be within the East and South East England.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake baseline habitat surveys, assessments and reporting
- Working alone and with our existing ecologists in the wider region to ensure quality projects are delivered on time to our clients
- Talking to our clients to ensure quality delivery of projects to deadlines
- Writing technical reports such as ecological constraints reports, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and protected species reports
- Supporting the team with business development and project management
Person Specification
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and within a commutable distance to our office
- Demonstrable experience of ecological consultancy work, including leading on surveys and managing projects
- Good working knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation
- Previous ecology related experience
- Graduate level education in a relevant subject
- Excellent written communication skills and be able to produce accurate technical reports to a professional standard
Salary and Benefits
- £24,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience
