An exciting opportunity has become available across multiple levels for individuals experienced in EC&I Engineering to join an innovative and fast-growing organisation that supplies specialist design, engineering and manufacturing to the nuclear industry.

The individual will be a design engineer assisting the EC&I Manager with key duties ranging from;

• Scheme design generation including user requirement and software system specifications.
• Quality compliance conversing with legislation and regulations applicable to the projects being worked on.
• Assisting the project management staff with technical delivery to ensure budget and expenditure information can be managed.
• Act as mentor to support fellow engineers expand their technical knowledge encouraging development of personal competencies.
• Comply with and encourage compliance of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete tendering tasks and assist in creating manufacturing documentation when required.

Key skills and Qualifications:

• Degree / HND / Higher Apprenticeship in a related discipline.
• Rockwell PLC programming trained.
• Has been responsible for a variety of diverse projects or activities ranging in both size and complexity.
• Is expected to be proficient in the production of standard design deliverables.
• Is expected to be an experienced user of relevant design tools, techniques and methods.
• Sound appreciation of manufacturing, assembly and test techniques
• A high level of commercial awareness
