The post holder will act as the School Attendance Lead within the Access to Education Entitlements Team and will
Lead on the development and implementation of the service strategies relating to School Attendance to enable the local authority to carry out its statutory duty in respect of attendance and any associated safeguarding issues;
Manage the School Attendance Support Team.
Lead on the development and implementation of policies and procedures in relation to School Attendance support to raise attendance levels.
Ensure compliance with the latest statutory guidance around school attendance.
To contribute to the development and implementation of policies in relation to Children Missing Education and School Attendance Legal Interventions.
